Resourcing the decarbonisation revolution
The world is at a critical juncture in its use and generation of energy, and most major economies have now set aggressive decarbonisation targets for the coming decades. This represents a huge challenge, as the supply and production of many minerals will need to increase significantly to meet the demands of the decarbonised economy.
This panel discussion will examine the challenges and opportunities; the leadership role that UQ can play in supporting a sustainable future; and showcase some of the research and collaboration underway at UQ's Sustainable Minerals Institute.
Facilitation: Professor Daniel Franks and Professor Anna Littleboy
