Tour of Herston Biofabrication Institute (HBI) – In-person event

A partnership between Metro North Health and The University of Queensland, HBI is the first institute of its kind, advancing knowledge and technology in 3D scanning, 3D modelling and 3D printing of medical devices, bone, cartilage and human tissue. Located on the Herston Health Precinct, HBI infrastructure includes a range of 3D printers, 3D scanning tools, virtual reality, tissue culture laboratory, patient interface area and training facilities.
Come and join us for a tour of HBI, a leading institute specialising in medical and engineering research, medical device manufacturing, and infrastructure supporting clinically-applied biofabrication and regenerative medicine.
