Liz Minchin is a Walkley award-winning journalist and author, with two decades of experience in newspapers, radio and online. She was a reporter and news editor at The Age newspaper for a decade, before working as a producer for the ABC.

In 2010, Liz worked with a scientist to publish 'Screw Light Bulbs', a plain English guide to serious climate solutions. ABC broadcaster Robyn Williams reviewed 'Screw Light Bulbs' as 'Clear, sensible, authoritative – and really interesting.' Since 2012, she’s worked at TheConversation.com: a not-for-profit publisher of free, expert articles by 82,000+ academics and researchers worldwide. Based in Brisbane, she's regularly worked with UQ researchers and the UQ media team.
