Whether it is decarbonizing, green energy, hypersonic flight, or multi-planetary access, high-temperature materials are indispensable to overcome the greatest engineering challenges of our time.

The University of Queensland has recently inaugurated state-of-the-art laboratories dedicated to processing and characterizing high-temperature materials.

This occasion marks the formal opening of these cutting-edge laboratories. The event will encompass an opening ceremony, presentation highlighting the laboratory's research focus and future prospects, a guided tour of the laboratories and associated facilities, followed by a networking event.

There will be a livestream option for the opening and speaker presentations.
