As the first institute of its kind, HBI is at the forefront of advancing knowledge and technology in 3D scanning, 3D modelling, and 3D printing of medical devices, bone, cartilage, and human tissue. Located within the Herston Health Precinct, HBI boasts cutting-edge infrastructure, including various 3D printers, 3D scanning tools, virtual reality systems, a tissue culture laboratory, a patient interface area, and comprehensive training facilities.
