This full-day event showcases cutting-edge translational and clinical research at the UQ Centre for Clinical Research (UQCCR), with a focus on fostering collaboration and innovation to improve patient outcomes.

The program is structured around four key research themes:

  • Modelling Brain Disease – chaired by Professor Paul Colditz, Director, Perinatal Research Centre, UQCCR
  • Biomarkers and Imaging Brain Models – chaired by Professor Judith Greer, Principal Research Fellow, UQCCR
  • Cognition and Mental Health – chaired by Professor Nadeeka Dissanayaka, UQ Amplify Professorial Research Fellow, UQCCR
  • Clinical Applications – chaired by Professor Pamela McCombe, Affiliate of Centre for Motor Neuron Disease Research, Professor, UQCCR

Highlights include a panel discussion featuring UQCCR alumni research students on “Pathways beyond being a research student”, and prizes for best posters and presentations.
