Human Centred AI Research at UQ - Hybrid event
Human Centred AI (HCAI) involves the co-configuration of AI and humans to prioritise human needs, values, capabilities, and wellbeing. It necessarily involves holistic, multi-stakeholder, multi-professional, and multi-disciplinary perspectives. HCAI focuses on ethical, inclusive, and accountable AI systems that are accessible and beneficial for all.
In this panel, UQ researchers discuss various avenues of research and lessons in co-designing, building, and evaluating HCAI. These projects include the Trauma Informed AI Toolkit and Mortar, a tool to support legal understanding and advocacy.
