Professor Deborah Terry AC, Vice-Chancellor and President of The University of Queensland (UQ), and Professor Sue Harrison, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation), are delighted to invite you to the 2025 UQ Research and Innovation Awards for Excellence.
These awards recognise the remarkable work of our researchers and research training leaders and celebrate the positive impact their research and contributions have on our community.
Keynote Address
We are honoured to announce that Professor Ute Roessner AM FAA, Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Research Council (ARC), will deliver the keynote address.
A renowned biochemist and innovative researcher, Professor Roessner plays a key role in fostering high-quality research, promoting innovation, and shaping Australia’s world-class research landscape.
Join us as we celebrate UQ researchers who are advancing knowledge, enabling innovation, and supporting the next generation of research excellence.
Formal proceedings will be followed by refreshments and an opportunity for networking.
