Inaugural Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research Lecture - Hybrid event

Indigenous Science Research: Shaping Research Excellence and Leadership in Higher Education

The Offices of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Indigenous Engagement) are proud to host the inaugural Indigenous Research Lecture as part of Research and Innovation Week and in alignment with the Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan (2025–2027).

The event will feature a keynote lecture delivered by the CSIRO Indigenous Science Research Director, Professor Ray Mahoney, focusing on the future of Indigenous science research and the role UQ can play in advancing this area. 

Afternoon tea will be provided following the lecture, offering an opportunity to network with colleagues and peers.
