Environmental Intelligence - Online event

This webinar will explore how environmental intelligence can support more informed decision-making for biodiversity as we grapple with the increased demands for land uses including data centres and renewable energy. 

Co-hosted by the UQ Climate Change Research Network, Energy Transition Research Network, and AI Research Network, the session will bring together researchers working across ecology, remote sensing, renewable energy, and artificial intelligence. The event will be moderated by Justine Bell-James (Climate Change Research Network), with invited contributions from UQ researchers working across these diverse fields. 

The discussion will highlight how these disciplinary approaches can be better integrated to better understand landscape dynamics, evaluate trade-offs across land uses, and support more robust, transparent decision-making under changing environmental conditions.
