These awards celebrate individuals and teams from the academic and professional sectors who have demonstrated dedication and commitment to areas such as research conduct, reproducibility, open research practices, innovation, collaboration, community engagement, and research career development.

Award Categories:

  • Conduct of Research, Reproducibility & Open Research Practices

This award recognises individuals or teams who have significantly advanced research transparency, integrity, and collaboration, fostering a culture of ethical research and open practices.

  • Enhancement of Local Environment & Well-being of Researchers

This award celebrates contributions to creating inclusive, supportive, and healthy research environments that promote researchers’ well-being, productivity, and success while championing diversity, equity, and safety.

  • Supporting Career Development for Researchers (EMCR)

This award acknowledges those who have shown dedication to researchers’ career growth by offering mentorship, training, networking, and opportunities that empower their professional development.

  • Public Engagement & Community-led Research (including Citizen Science)

This award acknowledges individuals or teams who have successfully engaged communities, citizen scientists, and non-experts in research collaborations that address real-world challenges and promote inclusivity.

  • Leadership in Research Support & Management

This award celebrates leaders who have shown exceptional dedication in providing research support, fostering innovation and collaboration, and enhancing the research community through strategic vision and best practices.
