The paper presents opportunities to grow investment and capital in Australian research, development and innovation. This includes ways to increase the availability of venture capital to support startups and scaleups and reduce barriers to funds choosing higher Australian private equity exposure.

Submissions by year

The Research Strategy and Policy Team coordinates submissions to Federal and State government and agency consultation exercises relating to research and innovation strategy, policy, funding and governance. Submissions rely upon expert input from UQ researchers and professional staff. Recent submissions have included (UQ login required to access submissions):

UQ Environmental scans

The UQ Environmental Scan facilitates the compilation and sharing of relevant data about the higher education environment in which we operate. The information included in the Scan can be used to assist decision making, and inform and support general University operations.

Research and Impact Environmental Scans

Periodic research strategy and impact environmental scans are conducted, highlighting developments or publications of interest in the research sector.
