Commercialisation Pathways Advisory Group (CPAG)

The Commercialisation Pathways Advisory Group (CPAG):

provides advice to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) on the interpretation, application and review of University policies and procedures as they relate to commercialisation, and conflicts of interest relating to intellectual property,
conducts commercialisation pathway reviews and provides advice to Level 3 Authorised Officers, including consideration of requests for the assignment of UQ IP to the originator,
provides advice on the management options for interests of individual staff involved in commercialisation, including in relation to secondary employment, and
generates templates and other tools for use in functions involving commercialisation.
