MyResearch Portal
The MyResearch Portal is used by Researchers, Local Research Support, Heads of Unit and Finance teams to create, view and manage applications.
Internal Portal
The Internal Portal is used by the Research Office and has a different interface with advanced functionality not available in the MyResearch Portal.
Who can initiate or submit applications?
Users with a paid position, honorary position or an academic title can initiate, edit and submit applications in MyResearch.
Lead Chief Investigator eligibility
Academic Title Holders can act as the Lead Chief Investigator in MyResearch.
HDR and student access
HDR students can be added as team members and view applications they are part of. Students cannot complete or edit MyResearch Projects applications on behalf of researchers, including Contract Research, Consultancy Research, Non-Funded Research Agreements and (from 2026) Research Grants and UQ Internal Initiatives. Students can still submit applications through MyResearch Ethics.
