Applying for funding
UQ researchers are required by UQ policy to submit applications for any research proposal through the RO. The Research Office, which works closely with Faculties and Institutes to support research endeavours.
For HDR students applying for external research training scholarships, the UQ Graduate School will be able to assist you.
All applications for research funding at UQ must be accompanied by a UQ Funding Application Certification form.

This is a general framework for Chief Investigators applying for research grants. Your School/Centre/Institute may also have their own internal application processes.
7. Seek approval from your Head of School/Director
When your application is prepared, submit your grant application with a Funding Application Certification form (FAC) to your organisational unit for approval. Your Head of School/Director will review your application and either approve or return to you for further clarification.
