Overview

The Australian Research Council's (ARC) Linkage Projects scheme supports collaborative research and development between higher education researchers and partner organisations including industry, to further national innovation and acquisition of new knowledge.

The scheme provides project funding of between $50,000 and $300,000 per year for 2 to 5 years, and must include at least one Partner Organisation and satisfy the ARC contribution requirements.

  • Familiarise yourself with the key ARC (available on GrantConnect) and UQ documentation. It is especially important to familiarise yourself with ARC's Grant Guidelines and Instructions to Applicants documents.

  • Please ensure you have completed your Funding Application Certification in MyResearch. You can commence and submit this in MyResearch at any stage prior to submission for internal review.
  • To initiate review, email UQ Research Office at ARC@research.uq.edu.au. Please note that RMS does not alert the Research Office when you create or submit an application in RMS.
  • Include your completed a UQ Pending and Newly Funded ARC grants form (see below) in your email.
  • If you are lodging a 'Request Not to Assess' (RNTA), please complete the 'Request Not to Assess' form in RMS and then submit to the Research Office for review by the date stated in key dates above. Instructions for creating a RNTA are available on GrantConnect.
